The organizations
The names of the veterans’ causes we’ll support, and a few words on why we chose each one.
Giving
Our plan is for the profits from every THX VETS item to go to veterans’ causes. Before the shop opens we’ll name the organizations we support and explain exactly how the giving works.
Before launch
We’d rather show you how it works than ask you to take our word for it. Before anything is for sale, this page will spell out:
The names of the veterans’ causes we’ll support, and a few words on why we chose each one.
A plain explanation of how the profit on each item is worked out, including which costs come out first, such as printing, shipping and platform fees.
Regular updates once the shop is open, so you can see what has been given and where it went.
Where things stand today: the shop isn’t open, nothing has been sold and no organizations have been chosen yet. When that changes, this page will be updated first.
No purchase needed
You don’t need a T-shirt to say thank you. Here are a few simple ways to do it.
Ask a veteran you know about their time in service, if they’d like to share, and really listen. Some of the best thank-yous are just attention.
If you hire, give veterans’ applications a close look. The skills people build in service, like leadership, teamwork and calm under pressure, carry over.
Look up the veterans’ groups in your own community. Volunteer your time, show up to their events or help with what they say they need.
A simple “thank you for your service” costs nothing. Said sincerely, it can mean a lot.
THX VETS is an independent brand. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. military or any veterans’ organization.
Pre-launch
We’re setting up the storefront, finishing the first designs and choosing the veterans’ causes we’ll support. There’s nothing to buy yet, and the shop won’t open until the giving details are published.
